Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Yardperson/Warehouse Person to support our Fort St. John team in BC. You will load/unload trucks, inspect equipment, and assist rental staff in selecting rental-ready gear while maintaining safe, organized warehouse and yard areas.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience (rough terrain or large forklifts), a valid Class 5 driver's license, and a commitment to safety and customer service. This is a permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months operating experience with rough terrain or large forklifts.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Must be physically capable of repetitive lifting and moving loads.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads trucks; inspects equipment before shipment and on return.
• Notifies shop foreman about damaged/missing equipment.
• Helps rental staff select rental-ready equipment.
• Processes equipment returns and closes rental contracts.
• Greets customers in yard and assists loading/unloading.
