Join SMS Equipment as an Equipment Sales Representative and take ownership of your territory. In this role, you’ll manage equipment sales, build trusted customer relationships, and drive growth—earning a first-year guaranteed $75,000 (base + commission). Regular travel throughout your territory allows you to build relationships and grow the business.

Location: Surrey, BC

Salary: $40,000 plus commission

  • First-year earnings guarantee of $75,000 (base salary + guaranteed commission).
What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, clear communication, and a focus on their needs.
  • Proactively generate leads, make cold calls, and close sales in your territory.
  • Manage your schedule and pipeline to meet deadlines and deliver on commitments.
  • Track market trends and work with the Sales / Operations Manager to set targets and shape strategy.
  • Prepare quotes and collaborate with the GM of Sales to align pricing and terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer data and sales activity in the CRM.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience (heavy equipment industry preferred).
  • Familiarity with a wide range of construction equipment and ability to recommend solutions.
  • Confident in cold calling, building new business, and managing a busy schedule with competing priorities.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
