Role Description

The Equipment Operator role at LandOne Land Management is a full-time, on-site position based in Regina, SK. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely operating heavy equipment for earthmoving, grading, excavation, and site preparation in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. The Equipment Operator will perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and minor repairs to equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation. The role involves reading and following project plans, grades, and directions from supervisors, maintaining an organized work area, and adhering to company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. The Equipment Operator will work closely with field teams to deliver high-tolerance finishes, support land development activities, and meet project schedules.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Equipment Operation and Heavy Equipment, with experience operating machinery such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in Excavation and site preparation tasks, including grading, trenching, and working to specified elevations and tolerances.
  • Capability in Forklift Operation for material handling and safe movement of supplies and equipment on job sites.
  • Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance, including performing inspections, lubrication, minor repairs, and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
  • Previous experience in construction, earthmoving, or land development environments is preferred.
  • Commitment to safety, including following company policies, PPE requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license; additional equipment certifications or operator tickets are an asset.
