The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech is gearing up for major shutdown campaigns across the country from mid December 2025 through 2026 and beyond. We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and safety‑driven Offshore/Onshore Technicians to join our high‑performing teams on upcoming projects. Regardless of your location we support point of hires from all major cities.

Take on new challenges and put your skills to the test on diverse projects for leading oil and gas clients across Australia.

  • Chemical and mechanical cleaning (using acids, degreasers, etc.)
  • Operating pumps, filtration systems, and temporary service setups
  • System flushing, dewatering, and preservation
  • Handling of chemicals and mixing using chemical equipment spread.
  • Waste water draining, neutralization and handling in suitable containers.
  • QA/QC recording, test logs, and handover documentation
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous improvement and plant reliability.
  • Uphold EnerMech’s strong commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence in every task.
The Requirements
  • Minimum 1‑2 years experience as a Technician with a background in chemical cleaning, system flushing, pressure or leak testing, and operating high‑pressure pumps or heaters is highly regarded.
  • White Card
  • Industry Safety Induction (desirable)
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space dated within 2 years (desirable)
  • Gast Test Atmosphere dated within 2 years (desirable)
  • Ability to pass OEUK and or Safer Together Medical
  • BOSIET - Offshore works mandatory
  • Australian working rights
