Interior Health is seeking an Environmental Service Worker to join our Support Services team at Talarico Place in Castlegar, BC. The role involves performing housekeeping duties and maintaining clean, sanitary conditions in patient, resident, and common areas across the facility.

This casual position offers variety with day and night shifts scheduled on a rotating basis, and provides access to employer-paid training, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

About the Job

The Environmental Service Worker | Cleaner

• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient, resident, and client rooms along with washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be days and nights rotating from 07:15 to 15:30, 16:00 to 22:30, 07:00 to 15:00 hours.
