A regional health organization in British Columbia is looking for a dedicated Environmental Services Worker at the Stewart Health Centre. Responsibilities include maintaining clean conditions in patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces. We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a position at the Stewart Health Centre.
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.
Monday to Friday, Days - 07:30 to 13:25
Located at the head of Portland Canal, a steep, narrow ocean fjord that forms a natural border between British Columbia and Alaska is the community of Stewart. This is one of the most spectacular spots in BC, with its towering snow-capped mountains and hanging glaciers of Bear Pass. The population of Stewart is approximately 500 people. The major industries are logging, mining and tourism. There are four elementary schools, one middle school, one secondary school, and two post‑secondary schools.
