Job summary

A local county government is looking for an Environmental Services Student to assist in stormwater management operations. Responsibilities include conducting field inspections, updating GIS data, and supporting waste management programs. Applicants must be enrolled in an environmental-related program and have a valid Class G2 Driver’s License. This position offers $19.36 per hour for a contract period of approximately 4 months, with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must be a university or college student in an environment-related discipline.
• Valid Class G2 Driver’s License required.
• Able to lift 30 lbs to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site field inspections for stormwater infrastructure.
• Create and update stormwater data for County GIS Database.
• Compile and organize stormwater reports and plans.
• Deliver Waste Management and Waste Reduction Programs.
