Job summary

North York General is seeking a part-time Environmental Services cleaner for the Senior's Health Centre. You will perform general housekeeping in patient and clinical areas, adhering to safety, infection control and quality guidelines. Shifts include 4- and 8-hour periods, with weekends. A health and safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes English and follows written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping in patient and clinical areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop floors and manage waste in accordance with safety rules.
• Replenish supplies and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Move furniture and assist with basic cleaning tasks as required.
