Job summary

MacEwan University is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Environmental for the Infrastructure Planning and Management department. This full-time role leads environmental compliance and capital projects up to $200M, serving as the internal SME on regulatory requirements and master plan delivery.

You will establish governance, manage risk, and guide project teams through initiation to deployment, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent in a related field.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Experience with environmental liability management is required.
• Experience in post-secondary or large-scale capital projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance for complex capital building projects.
• Develop governance and controls for projects.
• Monitor progress, risk, and budget, and report to leadership.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
