A government agency in Yukon seeks an Environmental Monitoring Specialist to provide ongoing environmental monitoring at resource development sites. The ideal candidate holds a degree in physical sciences and has experience in water sampling and analysis. The position involves travel to Yukon communities for fieldwork throughout the year. A Class 5 driver’s license and medical clearance are required.
This is a full time, permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The Compliance, Monitoring and Inspections Branch is the enforcement arm of the Department, providing compliance, monitoring, inspection, and enforcement services for natural resource development activities in the territory.
The general purpose of the position is to provide ongoing environmental monitoring at resource development sites.
