  6. Monitor construction activities related to environmental protection, including the implementation of environmental protection plans.
  7. Attend project and safety meetings.
  8. Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  9. Liaise with clients, regulators, and contractors.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Diploma or degree in environmental science, agrology, biology, forestry, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on erosion and sediment control (ESC).
  • CPESC designation (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain it.
  • Proven ability to prepare ESC plans and lead installation and compliance monitoring in the field.
  • Strong knowledge of ESC best practices in construction and/or mining environments.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Bonus if you bring:

  • QEP or QEP-eligible designation (e.g., RPBio, P.Ag, RPF, P.Eng).
  • Experience mentoring junior monitors or overseeing ESC field teams.
