Job Description

About the Role: As an EHS Manager, you will lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and initiatives at the Cambridge, MD plant to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company policies. You will help shape a safe, healthy, and engaging work environment and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for all environmental, health, and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Oversee safety audits, accident investigations, hazard assessments; analyze trends and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain plant-wide safety and environmental programs, including risk assessments and emergency response plans
  • Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports to regulatory agencies; lead site-wide training on health, safety, and environmental topics to maintain required certifications
  • Partner with plant leadership and employees to foster a proactive safety culture and consistent application of EHS policies
  • Support department managers in safety meetings and integration of safety practices into daily operations
  • Monitor effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records for incident reporting, near misses, safety metrics, and environmental performance
Important Details
  • The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $95,000 to $142,600 annually. Final salary is based on factors including competencies, education, certifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role on First Shift, Monday through Friday. Occasional flexibility may be required for alternate shifts and weekends.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with EHS program implementation and oversight

  • Ability to lead change and influence safety culture; excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with safety management systems and risk assessments preferred
