Job summary

Consor Canada is seeking an Environmental GIS Analyst to support environmental and engineering projects across municipal infrastructure, mining, energy, and land development. You will perform GIS analysis, spatial modeling, mapping, and technical reporting, collaborating with a skilled team and leveraging modern GIS tools.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consulting or industry-related experience.
  • Diploma or Degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering Technology or related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency with ESRI platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with key public data sources in Ontario and mapping tools for environmental projects.
  • Working knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, spatial databases, metadata standards, and GIS data management best practices.
  • Experience developing field data collection workflows and managing spatial data collected in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide GIS and geospatial support across environmental and engineering projects (baseline studies, wildlife surveys, habitat mapping).
  • Develop high-quality mapping products, web maps, dashboards, and spatial analyses.
  • Create and manage GIS databases and data standards.
  • Conduct analyses using LiDAR, orthophotography, satellite imagery, drone imagery, and other datasets.
  • Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
  • Build positive team relationships and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
  • Stay current on regulatory drivers, emerging technologies, and market demands.
