A non-profit environmental organization is seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide information on waste management and sustainability across British Columbia. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in environmental issues, excellent communication skills, and relevant post-secondary education. This remote role requires self-motivation and a commitment to helping others navigate environmental systems.

Qualifications
- A strong interest in environmental sustainability and waste reduction.
- Excellent customer service skills with experience handling inquiries.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Environmental Studies, Geography).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using email, spreadsheets, web tools, and internal databases.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries from the public via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Ensure databases are accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed on topics related to solid waste and circular economy practices.
- Conduct research into new topics, emerging issues, and unique inquiries as needed.
