A leading infrastructure contractor in Edmonton is seeking a Quality Control Entry Level Inspector to support the quality department through inspections, documentation, and maintaining job files. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with N.D.E processes. Qualifications

• CWB welding inspector qualifications – CSA W178.2 Level 1 is an asset but not required.
• Understanding of all N.D.E processes used in the industry.
• Understanding of pressure piping code, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA / QC team in maintaining job files.
• Compile reports from internal quality management system.
• Ensure inspection documentation is completed within designated timeline.
• Monitor statistical data and assist the QC Inspectors in maintaining project NDE percentage and test requirements.
• Perform and report visual inspections as outlined in the WD & prepare clear and accurate reports.

Education

Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology or Materials Engineering Technology
