Qualifications

  • Completion of a High School Diploma is required; post-secondary education is considered a plus.
  • Must possess a valid insurance license for Newfoundland and Labrador OR demonstrate commitment to obtaining one.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary advisor for ongoing client needs and provide recommendations on personal insurance.
  • Actively sell new insurance policies and work to retain existing client business.
  • Prepare documentation for insurance carriers and process policy changes.
  • Communicate effectively with Underwriters and Adjusters to manage workflow.
  • Participate in training initiatives to maintain expertise and stay current.
