Job summary

Workland, on behalf of a recognized Quebec manufacturer, is seeking an Offset Press Operator (Feeder / Assistant Operator). No prior press experience required; full training provided.

The role supports press operations, ensures timely supply of paper and consumables, and contributes to quality and efficiency on the production line. You will work within a safety-focused environment with modern presses, team collaboration, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to handle materials safely and in good physical condition.
• Willingness to train in printing operations.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and deliver paper according to production priorities.
• Perform quality checks on raw materials before use.
• Prepare equipment and materials for make-readies and job changes.
• Ensure continuous supply of consumables to presses.
• Assist press operators during make-readies and production changes.
• Participate in problem analysis to minimize downtime.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
• Communicate clearly during shift handovers.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
