Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Canada is seeking a Junior Mechanical Systems Engineer in Mirabel, QC. This role involves working within the Mechanical Systems Engineering group for military aircraft programs, providing technical support and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree and knowledge of mechanical systems. Responsibilities include addressing maintenance issues, supporting integration tests, and preparing technical reports. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (Hydraulics, Fuel, Pneumatics).
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Strong technical writing skills including the ability to write reports in English.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the technical lead in the CF-18 maintenance program.
  • Address maintenance snags and analyze them.
  • Provide technical support and engineering disposition.
  • Assist in developing mechanical system modifications.
  • Identify discrepancies in drawings.
  • Support integration tests on the system.
  • Prepare technical reports.
