Total Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a Junior Fire Systems Technician to join our team of fire and life safety professionals. This entry-level role offers a path to develop skills in fire protection and safety services under the supervision of a senior technician.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Travel, after-hours work, and a rotating on-call schedule may be required as training progresses.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada with valid SIN.
• Valid Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred).
• Willing to travel as required and work after hours/weekends.
• Willing to participate in rotating on-call schedule (once trained).

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, service, and basic troubleshooting of fire protection systems.
• Support repairs, upgrades, and maintenance tasks as directed.
• Help prepare inspection and deficiency reports.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and general job site tasks.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in scheduled inspections and service work.
