The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting entry level Field Engineers (E.I.T.) for our Acheson location. Reporting to the Manager – Field Engineering, the E.I.T. works in unison with Field Operations and is responsible for ensuring effective use and application of the technical activities in the Cementing and Acidizing service lines.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure policies and procedures are being followed and provide input to policy and process changes; work with station staff to provide training and technical expertise where required.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the importance of innovative technology, research and assist with the implementation of this technology through effective design and field testing.
  • Understand implications of changes to equipment and/or operating procedures.
  • Act as a direct link to Head Office programming for job design changes.
  • Utilize engineering principles for problem solving.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; APEGA eligible / registered preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a hands‑on capacity; prior labour experience within oil and gas or agricultural settings is a significant asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, all‑season, and ever‑changing environment.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, with changing priorities.
  • Computer literacy, presentation skills and strong communication skills are a must.
  • Preference will be given to those with degrees in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, and Materials Engineering.
