Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for energetic Fabricators to join a production team in Chilliwack. The role includes reading blueprints, operating various machinery, and ensuring quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school education and some experience in metal fabrication, but training is provided for the right individuals. Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Dexterity and familiarity with power tools.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication and basic mechanical skills.
• Basic math skills.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
• Welding aluminum, steel MIG/TIG is an asset.
• Level C ticket or forklift certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Operate a variety of light machinery for cutting.
• Make necessary cuts and assemble components.
• Install fabricated components in the final product.
• Monitor the quality of fabrication.
• Adhere to safety standards.
