About Us

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and help prepare company financial statements, month‑end journal entries, and accruals
  • Conduct key account reconciliations
  • Support customer invoicing process
  • Help maintain an accurate financial system, including posting invoices and reviewing reports to check account coding is correct
  • Create and distribute financial and operational reports, as well as performance metrics
  • Learn and utilize existing software and recommend system and process improvements where relevant
  • Assist clients with annual budget preparation and quarterly forecast updates
  • Calculate and analyze variances between actuals and budget on a monthly basis
  • Conduct research on accounting treatment for routine transactions
  • Look to continuously improve processes that you are working on or are affected by
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis
  • Support the team with projects and improvement initiatives, such as system implementations
Key Technical Skills
  • Interest in pursuing CPA certification
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage, SAP, or another) is advantageous

Additional Requirements

All employees must have access to reliable transportation and possess a full Ontario driver's license to commute to clients not accessible by public transportation.
