A premier entertainment venue in Ottawa is looking for an Event Production Assistant to support the operations of the Entertainment Department. Responsibilities include setup and teardown of events, managing equipment, and ensuring guest relations. Candidates should have a background in event production and customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires lifting and handling equipment and maintaining a positive atmosphere for guests.
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the incumbent assists in the operational functions of the Hard Rock Entertainment Department including set up and tear down of events property wide, performs fabrication, set-up, assembly, and disassembly of all equipment, scenery, wardrobes, instruments and tools necessary for the preparation of professional shows and performances. Assist in day to day operations of department to ensure it functions properly.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
High School Diploma or trade school certificate and a minimum of three (3) years of event/ concert production experience performing similar duties required or a combination of education and experience.
