Job Description

Numerator is seeking a highly driven Enterprise Sales Director, Survey to accelerate growth of our survey and custom research solutions. This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for a proven enterprise seller who thrives on building new business, expanding strategic client relationships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets. The Enterprise Sales Director will own go-to-market execution for survey solutions, positioning Numerator as the partner of choice for brands, retailers, and agencies seeking actionable consumer insights.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle for Numerator’s survey and custom research solutions, from prospecting through close, with accountability for quota attainment.
  • Drive new business by targeting senior decision-makers at enterprise brands, agencies, and retailers.
  • Develop and expand strategic client relationships, uncovering opportunities to grow wallet share through survey and research offerings.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and driving predictable growth.
  • Partner with internal teams (Research, Product, Customer Success) to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that translate Numerator’s survey capabilities into clear business value.
  • Represent Numerator at industry events and within professional networks to generate demand and elevate market presence.
  • Provide strategic market feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategy.
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of enterprise software sales experience, selling into consumer products and retailers, in the functional areas of consumer insights, survey research, or related data/analytics solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in the survey industry (e.g., Ipsos, SurveyMonkey, EuroMonitor, Suzy, Zappi, Toluna, Qualtrics) is preferred, particularly within the context of consumer goods and retail. Understanding how survey and purchase data can be integrated to provide deeper consumer insights is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, NPD, Dunnhumby) is highly valued.
  • Innovative and results-oriented senior sales contributor with strong software/tech sales experience, preferably with SaaS exposure.
  • Proven experience as a sales hunter and an ability to drive strategic sales cycles and close business.
  • Experience negotiating and renewing strategic/high revenue impact partnerships solo, including those that require deep sales and product integrations between companies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills – Ability to speak fluently to senior executives, salespeople and product managers.
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com and its use for updating accounts, opportunities, and deal stages.
