Description du poste

Responsibilities

The Risk Appetite and Assessment team is part of SG Americas Enterprise Risk Management and plays a central role in supporting how enterprise risks are identified, assessed, monitored, reported, and governed across the Americas platform. Reporting to the Head of Risk Appetite and Assessment in Montreal, this role offers broad exposure to enterprise-wide stress testing, business and strategic risk analysis, risk appetite, risk identification and assessment, enterprise risk reporting, governance, and process improvement. It is designed for an adaptable and analytically minded professional who is interested in connecting risk analysis with business strategy and management decision-making. The role requires curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to understand inputs received from risk types, businesses, or first-line teams, simplify the message, and ask thoughtful questions when something does not appear clear or consistent. Depending on business priorities, team capacity, and the individual’s development path, the person may be assigned to one of the team’s core processes. The expectation is to develop breadth progressively, not to own all processes simultaneously. A strong foundation in quantitative analysis and clear communication is required, while the team will support the individual in developing deeper knowledge of the relevant frameworks, processes, and regulatory expectations.
