Job summary

EY in Quebec is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead our Enterprise team. You will plan and oversee compilation and review engagements, with responsibility for tax filings and client deliverables.

You will supervise engagement teams, maintain client relationships, and stay informed on industry trends and economic developments. The role requires CPA designation (preferred) and 5–7 years in public accounting, with strong knowledge of ASPE and tax concepts.

Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred.
• 5-7 years’ relevant work experience in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of financial accounting and ASPE Standards.
• Strong client communication skills and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage Compilation (CER) and Review Engagements along with the required tax filings.
• Prepare deliverables tailored to client needs.
• Supervise engagement teams and review work performed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client management.
• Understand the client’s industry sector and key performance drivers.
• Stay informed of new economic developments and their impact on clients.
• Continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
