Key Responsibilities
1. Engage, Nurture, and Motivate Children in Learning
- Develop innovative and stimulating lesson plans to spark children's curiosity and love for learning.
- Implement creative teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
2. Prepare, Plan, and Conduct Age-Appropriate Lessons
- Conduct thorough research to align curriculum with age-appropriate educational standards.
- Utilize educational resources, technology, and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
3. Establish Effective Classroom Management
- Implement clear and consistent rules and expectations to maintain a well-disciplined classroom.
4. Establish Excellent Partnerships with Parents
- Foster open and transparent communication with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and development.
- Organize regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss academic performance and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with parents to identify and address individual learning needs and challenges.
5. Perform Routine Care for Children and Ensure Safety and Hygiene
- Provide basic care and attention to meet children's daily needs, including mealtime, rest, and playtime.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Be vigilant in supervising children to prevent accidents and promptly address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Relevant Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Must be accredited by ECDA as L1/L2.
- Teaching certification and credentials (if applicable).
- Proven experience in early childhood education or related teaching roles.
- Strong knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methodologies and child development theories.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Patience, Empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
