The English Editing Department is integral to this mission, ensuring that all of MDPI’s manuscripts are published with clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.

The Role: English Editors

Responsibilities
  • Edit scholarly articles submitted to MDPI journals to a publication-ready standard.
  • Apply knowledge of the English language and the context of the manuscript to make the English clear, consistent, and grammatically correct, communicating the author’s message without changing their voice unnecessarily.
  • Ensure manuscripts align with MDPI’s house rules.
  • Meet tight deadlines and hit targets with a high degree of consistency.
