A leading academic publishing company in Toronto is seeking meticulous English Editors to ensure clarity and grammatical accuracy in scholarly articles. The English Editing Department is integral to this mission, ensuring that all of MDPI’s manuscripts are published with clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.The Role : English Editors
We are looking for meticulous and dedicated individuals with a strong grasp of the English language and the nuances of academic writing to support scholars publishing their research. English Editors support academic research by editing the language of peer‑reviewed papers to publication standards.
Successful applicants undergo a probation period during which in‑house training is provided by an experienced editor, after which there are opportunities to diversify the role and gain expertise in new areas.
This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in North York, Toronto.
Focused in‑house training in editing scholarly content according to MDPI’s conventions by experienced editors.
A 5% pay increase for non‑PhD holders or 10% pay increase for PhD holders after passing the probation period. Performance‑based quarterly bonuses.
