Job summary

Superior Cabinets is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our engineering team in Saskatoon. The role supports project planning, documentation, data analysis and field work to ensure projects are executed efficiently and accurately.

You will assist with design, development and testing, coordinate activities to meet timelines, and prepare technical drawings and reports while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Insight or similar) will be an asset.
  • Basic understanding of woodworking, cabinetry construction, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in the design, development and testing of engineering projects.
  • Help with the coordination of project activities and ensure timely delivery of material and reports.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports and technical drawings.
  • Conduct research, compile data, perform calculations and present conclusions.
  • Participate in new product development and prototype evaluation.

  • Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Perform other administrative and technical tasks assigned.
