You’ll manage timelines, budgets, and resources from concept to deployment, coordinating with engineering, production, and partners to deliver high-quality electrical wire and cable solutions.

You will track progress, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure quality and customer satisfaction while traveling as needed within Canada and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2-5 years of project management experience in engineering/manufacturing/technical environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder updates.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting timelines and budgets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S.

United Wire & Cable (UWC) (https://unitedwc.com/), a GCG company, is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects supporting the delivery of engineered electrical wire and cable solutions for industrial, mining, and infrastructure applications.

Working closely with engineering, production, and external partners, you will coordinate resources, track project performance, and provide clear communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role plays an important part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining the high standards of quality, reliability, and customer service our clients expect.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based out of our Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada location.

Occasional travel within Canada and the United States may be required to support project activities and customer engagements.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project timelines and budgets

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Canada and the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as PMP or P.Eng

• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 and electrical codes (CSA, NEC, UL, etc.)

• Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft CRM experience considered an asset

• Experience supporting projects in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or infrastructure environments
