Job summary

Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. is sourcing a highly skilled Structural or Civil Engineer to lead a dynamic bridges team in Ontario. The role combines hands-on bridge design with leadership to deliver code-compliant drawings and certifications as Engineer of Record.

The successful candidate will hold a Canadian P.Eng designation, coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Project teams, and mentor engineers while applying AutoCAD, SolidWorks and RISA to Canadian standards on bridge projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Canadian P.Eng designation required to seal and stamp drawings.
• Experience as Engineer of Record on Bridge projects.
• Ability to lead and develop an engineering team.
• Familiarity with Canadian bridge standards.

Job description

Our established construction industry Client is looking to add the talents of a creative Structural or Civil Engineer to the organization to lead to their innovative group in the delivery of code-compliant Bridge designs, drawings, and related documents. Combining hands-on structural design and professional practice with the ability to coach and further develop an established, high-performing engineering team, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Project teams to deliver turn-key engineered packages.

A valid Canadian Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) is required to seal & stamp drawings and issue letters of certification. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and team player, able to showcase past experiences with structural steel installations to Canadian standards as Engineer of Record on Bridge projects. Familiarity with a variety of tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks, RISA) will be essential to success. This is an opportunity for an established Bridge Engineer to make an impact with a busy and growing business in a leadership role.

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $120 000 - $140 000
