Job summary

Luxury Presence is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead Maps & Search, owning the home search experience across web and mobile. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coding, architecture, and incident response to deliver fast, scalable results.

You will drive AI-driven improvements, mentor a senior/AI-augmented team, and collaborate with product and design to translate user needs into technical plans that impact engagement and lead flow.

Qualifications

• Year+ software engineering experience with senior/staff level responsibilities.
• Proven background in designing and operating scalable, low-latency production systems.
• Experience leading teams and delivering impactful projects in a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, tradeoffs, and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Maps & Search team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and career development.
• Stay hands-on with coding, reviews, architecture, and debugging to guide the team.
• Own and scale a high-throughput real estate search platform with billions of monthly requests.
• Deliver a world-class home search experience across web and mobile, improving engagement and conversions.
• Push forward AI-powered discovery by integrating LLMs and intelligent ranking into search workflows.
• Shape the roadmap with product and design, translating user needs into a technical plan.
