Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Work cross‑functionally to align strategy, methodology, and execution with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Release Management, Architecture
  • Escalate and track impediments from teams under release scope
  • Manage risks and dependencies of release
  • Provide input on required resourcing across the bank to support development and release
  • Leverage deep technology expertise to deliver and ensure that all areas across the organization have the necessary tools, processes, and documentation
  • Work with partners across Technology to apply in‑depth understanding of business needs to identify and leverage synergies
  • Act as the expert or lead innovator and agent of change for the programs and services under management
  • Implement best practices for engineering and management in collaboration with other teams
  • Engage with vendor platform providers and engineering peers to stay abreast of trends, products, frameworks, and applications
  • Identify and manage stakeholder engagement and impacts across the enterprise
  • Interpret client needs, assess engineering‑related requirements, and identify solutions to non‑standard requests
  • Apply best practices and internal/external business knowledge to improve products or services in the discipline
  • Monitor and control costs within own work
  • Interact with governance and control groups (regulatory, operational risk, compliance, audit) to provide subject‑matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to engineering technology and tools
  • Develop and/or contribute to negotiations of third‑party contracts/agreements
