As part of the Engineering Maintenance team, you take pride in keeping the property in top shape by performing preventative maintenance and hands‑on repairs throughout the hotel. Whether fixing a leaky faucet, patching drywall, or replacing a light switch, your work is key to ensuring guests have a safe and comfortable stay.
You work both independently and alongside the Chief Engineer and the rest of the team to take on a variety of maintenance tasks, always staying ready to help where needed. In the role of Engineering Maintenance, you will:
Minimum 1 year of experience in general building maintenance or similar role
Painting and drywall experience is required
Basic HVAC knowledge (changing filters, blower motors, etc.)
Basic plumbing and electrical repair skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to work independently and follow safety protocols
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Repair or replace tile, grout, caulking, drapes, rods, towel racks, shower curtain rods, door stops, and light fixtures
Perform basic wall repairs and painting
Maintain exterior lighting and support groundskeeping program
Move furniture, hang pictures, and assist with room setups
Perform pool and spa maintenance as needed (cleaning, adjusting chemical levels, replacing filters, and maintaining logs)
Ensure logs and maintenance records are updated and accurate
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments
Assist in emergency situations and support hotel safety procedures
Report any safety concerns or needed repairs to the Chief Engineer
Support other departments and hotel staff as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and operation of the property
