Job summary

Innovent in Toronto is seeking an Engineer – Object Graph & Eventing to build the typed graph that holds every asset, place, person, and signal at scale.

You will join a small team on the Innfini platform, delivering to customers with national-scale operations in a hybrid setup, balancing async documentation with decisive in-person work.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems handling high throughput.
• Hands-on streaming systems experience (Kafka, Flink, or similar).
• Familiarity with graph databases.
• Strong schema design discipline.
• Latency-obsessed mindset.

The role

You’ll join a small team focused on the object & event graph surface of the Innfini platform. The work is product, customer, and consequence — in equal measure. You’ll ship to customers running national-scale operations, sometimes from a war room, sometimes from a chemical plant.
