What You’ll Do

As an Engineering Drafter, you’ll support the design and documentation of uncrewed vehicle systems and related products. This role focuses on creating and updating 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.

  • Create and update 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD software.
  • Operate 3D printers and support rapid prototyping initiatives.
  • Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers on design and prototyping projects.
  • Mentor and support entry‑level team members.
  • Contribute to process improvements and workflow optimization.
What You Bring
  • Post‑secondary diploma or higher in Engineering/Drafting.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in parametric modeling software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Bonus if you have:
  • Experience with autonomous or uncrewed vehicles.
  • CT or CET designation through ASET.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes (metalwork, wiring, electronics).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Security & Safety Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance including background check and criminal record screening.
  • Comfortable working in a safety‑sensitive environment (factory floor, testing, deployments).
  • Able to lift up to 15 kg and occasionally travel off‑site.
