Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to provide strategic and operational leadership for a multidisciplinary engineering team across complex projects and multiple sectors. This senior leadership role drives engineering excellence, quality standards, talent development, and stakeholder partnerships to enable business growth.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering projects in industrial, energy, infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and quality management systems.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, maintaining high quality standards, developing engineering talent, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams, improving engineering processes, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of engineering QA/QC, compliance, and quality management systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
