Job summary

IKO Industries in Ashcroft, British Columbia, is seeking an Engineering/Science Co-op student for a full-time role from August 2026 to May 2027. The position offers competitive compensation from $24.50 to $27.50 per hour and a chance to work on projects related to safety and efficiency for plant operations.

Candidates will assist with project management, shadow engineering staff, and engage in Health and Safety documentation while developing critical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings; proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor is an asset.
  • Critical thinking skills and a high degree of organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work on engineering projects from inception to closeout.
  • Assist Engineering Team with project management and planning.
  • Shadow personnel to create SOPs and SWIs.
