Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Engineering Analyst to apply industrial engineering principles to optimize warehouse operations, logistics networks, and overall productivity. You will support multiple projects, requiring a self-starter attitude, strong attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication across Supply Chain, IT, and operations.

Key functions include time and motion studies, data analysis using SAP EWM/SAP ERP, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive cost

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
1–2 years in engineering, supply chain, data analytics, or related field.
Six Sigma or Process Improvement experience preferred.
Data analytics, Time and Motion Study methods (MOST) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge helpful.
Exposure to WMS/ERP systems like SAP EWM/SAP ERP is a plus.
Experience with Agentic AI for automation is an asset.

Responsibilities

Measure and analyze operational productivity to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain.
Conduct time studies and data analysis using SAP EWM, GCP, and direct observations.
Plan and optimize DC slotting for seasonal programs and report compliance.
Apply Lean/Six Sigma to identify cost-out opportunities.
Develop engineered labour standards for the distribution team.
Model performance and cost using analytical methods.
Present project updates and ROI analyses for stakeholders.
Communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
