Your future role on our team

Join BBA and put your experience to work by actively contributing to the various steps of major projects in industrial energy efficiency, from the earliest stages of the business relationship to onsite equipment commissioning and performance monitoring.

You’ll be part of our mechanical team specialized in energy transition, and you’ll help our clients decarbonize their installations.

You’ll be using your leadership skills every day, whether it’s to develop trusting relationships with our partners, train the next generation or manage a passionate team.

This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead, be in the thick of the action and work closely with talented people.

  • Work with the team on innovation projects involving decarbonization, energy management, efficient energy use and heat recovery in the industrial sectors
  • Design heat recovery systems and various thermal networks (HVAC, power systems: cooling and heating loops)
  • Carry out project and technical management (design reviews, costs, schedules)
  • Help prepare proposals
  • Prepare, draft and produce study reports
  • Perform technical information statements
  • Prepare and revise engineering documents

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and member of the OIQ
  • From 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, heat recovery, thermal power systems, cooling systems and HVAC
  • Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and abroad
  • Advanced French skills to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients within Québec
  • Ability to draft technical documents
  • Asset: experience in engineering project management (study or detailed engineering)
  • Asset: CEM certification
  • Asset: available for short-term work assignments at client sites in Québec and across Canada
