Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Civil/Structural Engineer - Civil Structures (Utilities) to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to delivering a variety of public and private projects across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Design: Prepare structural designs for civil structures such as pumping stations, chambers, culverts, substations & switchrooms, guardhouses, and other ancillary structures.

2. Production: Create standard engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

3. Collaboration: Work closely with your team and other discipline engineers to ensure cross-disciplinary design alignment.

4. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures and maintain clear records of design development.

5. BIM Proficiency: Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools (e.g., Revit) to enhance design coordination and accuracy in producing design/construction drawings.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in civil/structural design.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, or similar; familiarity with Structural Design codes.

4. Communication: Good verbal and written English skills.

5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and creative approach to overcoming design challenges.

6. Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a commitment to high-quality results under tight deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Experience working in Dubai or the UAE is advantageous.

2. Knowledge of Dubai Building Code and local standards (Dubai Municipality, RTA, Civil Defense, DEWA) is a plus.

3. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
