An overview of your future role at BBA

Our new office in Jonquière is expanding, and we’re looking for a talented engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll be involved in engineering and programming mandates in automation, instrumentation and control. Your role will be to contribute to various phases of engineering and site work. You may also be called upon to help produce deliverables for digital solution mandates.

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Help produce various deliverables for an automation engineering project cycle
  • Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details)
  • Draft reports, plans and specifications, construction and purchasing estimates and calls for tenders, where required
  • Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, levels) and control valves.
  • Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical and instrumentation)
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for distributed control systems (DCSs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
  • Participate in equipment commissioning and performance testing at client sites
