Job summary

Envari is seeking an Energy Services Engineer to deliver technical and project management support for its growing energy services business in Eastern Ontario. You will identify, design and implement energy management solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, focusing on reducing energy costs and improving efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and professional engineering licensure in Ontario, with at least 5 years of building systems design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Sustainable and Renewable Energy).
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible to become licensed (P.Eng).
• Minimum 5 years’ electrical or mechanical engineering design for building systems.
• Experience in energy management, building automation, and project delivery.
• Experience coordinating with trades/consultants and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement energy management solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
• Perform engineering design of building mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and controls.
• Prepare proposals, technical reports, and feasibility studies.
• Provide project management from design through construction and closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors; track schedules and budgets.
• Ensure work aligns with design documents, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Develop industry relationships to grow the energy services business.
