Reporting to the Associate Director, Sustainability and Energy Management, the Energy Management Coordinator is an exciting opportunity within the Sustainability Office primarily responsible for quantifying, assessing, and assisting with the implementation of energy initiatives through preliminary and detailed engineering studies, and maintaining a database designed to track and monitor energy usage and progress towards energy saving goals.
The Energy Management Coordinator will assist with the implementation of short- and long-term targets by way of supporting program promotion, enacting business process improvements, advancing energy conservation initiatives, and supporting communication and outreach activities. These deliverables when identified and executed will fulfil U of T's climate change commitments under the University Climate Change Coalition (UC3) and UTM’s newly released Climate Positive Plan.
