Job summary

Humber Polytechnic seeks an Energy Engineer to advance climate action and energy efficiency across its North Campus. You will identify opportunities in a large building stock, lead SkySpark integration, and coordinate BAS data to drive performance improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in energy systems, a P.Eng or EIT license, and strong project management skills. Location: North Campus, Toronto area, with a 37.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and professional licensure (P.Eng) or EIT with Ontario eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years in energy/building systems, HVAC and controls.
• Experience with BAS programming and energy analytics.
• Strong MS Excel and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement energy saving opportunities across 3M ft2 of building stock.
• Lead SkySpark integration and data visualization initiatives.
• Manage energy efficiency projects and prepare business cases.
• Perform measurement and verification of savings and KPIs.
• Coordinate with operations, capital projects, and external utilities.
