Job summary

CSP is seeking energetic, kid-friendly basketball coaches to join our team in the GTA. We work with children aged 2–10, making activities fun while building confidence and teamwork. Our program progresses from basic drills to scrimmages and more competitive play as players grow.

Ideal candidates are reliable, communicative, and able to work weekday evenings or Saturdays/Sundays. Coaches should be fit, enthusiastic, and able to supervise 2+ hour sessions with kids and parents.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children.
• Availability on weekday evenings (4pm–8pm) and/or weekends (9am–12pm).
• Reliable and professional demeanor.
• Able to transport soccer equipment between facilities.
• Full, valid driver's license.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing with kids, parents and teammates.
• Playful, fun and imaginative with children.
• Excellent communication to interact with children and parents.
• Physically fit to coach soccer skills for 2+ hours.
• Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Responsibilities

• Coach basketball sessions for youths aged 2–10 with focus on fun and foundational skills.
• Progress players from basic drills to scrimmages and more competitive play.
• Engage children, manage groups, and communicate feedback to parents.
• Travel with equipment between facilities when needed.
