Job summary

MNP Community & Sport Centre in Calgary is seeking an endurance coach to deliver coaching and programming for athletes, focusing on personalized sessions, group classes, and performance development.

You will lead sessions in swimming, cycling, and running, maintain safety documentation, and collaborate with the Sport Performance Manager to align programs with client goals. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Kinesiology or physical education.
• Athletic background in endurance sports and current CPR/First Aid.
• Minimum of three years coaching experience with a specific athletic focus.
• Certifications such as NCCP, CSCS, CSEP-CEP or related fitness/coaching assets are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position MNP Community & Sport Centre & 3433 Sport Performance as leaders in endurance training and coaching.
• Provide technical coaching in running, cycling and/or swimming based on athletes' needs.
• Develop detailed training schedules for group and custom coaching, submitting one week prior to program start.
