Job summary

Ambulance New Brunswick in New Brunswick is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians to join our provincial ambulance service, providing rapid response, patient assessment, transport, and care in high‑pressure environments across the region.

EMTs play a critical role in non‑urgent and urgent patient transport, operate ambulances and vital equipment, and work as part of a coordinated team under PANB guidelines and Ambulance NB procedures.

Qualifications

• Must meet all legislated requirements for Emergency Medical Technician in New Brunswick.
• Must be registered, active Emergency Medical Technician with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick; PANB registration required or eligibility to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and patient care for non-urgent and urgent patients; respond to calls with Ambulance NB team.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in accordance with patient needs and public safety.
• Follow PANB policies, procedures, and protocols during all shifts and duties.
