The Academic Advising & Career Centre (AA&CC) embraces a holistic philosophy in its delivery of integrated academic advising, learning skills, career development and employment coaching services to students. With a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, the department operates as a cross-functional team working closely with campus partners to support student success and retention, foster student engagement and strengthen the student experience at UTSC.

Under the general supervision of the Career Supports, Team Lead, and in collaboration with your AA&CC team and tri-campus career centre colleagues, you will build and cultivate relationships with employers, alumni and campus partners. This includes providing outstanding service delivery to professionals across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, by ascertaining both their immediate and long-term needs.
Independently, and in consultation with other units at University of Toronto Scarborough and tri-campus partners, you will connect with employers and partners who wish to engage with UTSC students for employment and co-curricular programming purposes. This would include navigating them through the UofT career eco-system, posting opportunities and hosting events such as employer information sessions, networking events and career panels and fairs, as well as support AA&CC events, activities and programming.

USW Pay Band 11 -- $76,577. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $97,928. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
